Dunwoody, GA – Car Accident on I-285 Near Ashford Dunwoody Rd
Dunwoody, GA (July 15, 2021) – At 8:45 a.m. on the morning of Thursday, July 15, a car accident with injuries occurred in Dunwoody.
According to officials, the accident happened in the eastbound lanes of I-285 around the area of Ashford Dunwoody Road (exit 29). Several vehicles were traveling in the area in heavy traffic when they collided due to reasons that are not fully known. The vehicles involved in the accident were extensively damaged as a result.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were immediately dispatched to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims were taken to local hospitals for treatment of their injuries.
The roadway was blocked in the area for an extended period of time. Police quickly worked to clear the scene.
