Duluth, GA – Two-Vehicle Collision on Buford Hwy at Old Peachtree Rd Leaves Victim Critically Injured
Duluth, GA (October 11, 2021) – On Sunday afternoon, October 11, a multi-vehicle collision occurred in Duluth.
According to Gwinnett County deputies and officers with the Duluth Police Department, the accident happened on Buford Highway, south of Old Peachtree Road.
The DPD added that officers arrested a driver for driving under the influence after being causing the two-car wreck, which resulted in serious injuries.
Medics hospitalized at least one person in critical condition. The driver of the other car was arrested.
The roadway was blocked in the area for an extended period of time. Police urged those in the area to use an alternate route.
The investigation into the circumstances of the accident continues at this time.
