Duluth, GA – Multi-Vehicle Crash on I-85 Near Pleasant Hill Rd
Duluth, GA (June 27, 2021) – At 1:18 p.m. on the afternoon of Sunday, June 27, a multi-vehicle crash with injuries took place in Duluth.
According to Gwinnett County officials, the accident happened in the southbound lanes of I-85 around the area of Pleasant Hill Road. Two or more vehicles were traveling in the area when they collided due to reasons that are not yet known. The vehicles involved in the accident sustained severe damages as a result of the crash.
Numerous local responders, including paramedics and fire crews, were called to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims were hospitalized with injuries, though their conditions are not yet known.
Two left lanes of traffic were blocked in the area for an extended period of time as police cleared the scene.
The investigation into the circumstances of the accident continues.
