Duluth, GA – Injury Car Crash Reported on I-85 at Steve Reynolds Blvd
Duluth, GA (May 26, 2021) – Deputies with the Gwinnett County Sherriff’s Office say that injuries were reported after a car crash took place on Interstate 85 on Wednesday morning, May 26.
According to information released by authorities, the accident took place around 9:00 a.m. in the southbound lanes of I-85, also known as the GA 140, around Steve Reynolds Boulevard and milepost 103. The accident involved at least two vehicles and led to serious damages.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were dispatched to the scene of the accident. One or more victims were injured as a result of the accident. It appears that the injured victims were taken to the hospital for treatment of their injuries, though updates on their conditions have not been provided.
Almost all lanes of traffic were blocked for at least two hours following the crash. No further details have been released but the investigation continues at this time.
