Duluth, GA – Car Accident on I-85 Near Steve Reynolds Blvd Leads to Injuries
Duluth, GA (August 1, 2021) – At 2:11 p.m. on the afternoon of Sunday, August 1, a car accident occurred in Duluth.
According to authorities, the accident happened in the southbound lanes of I-85 around the area of Steve Reynolds Boulevard. Gwinnett County officials confirmed that multiple vehicles were traveling on the highway when they suddenly collided due to reasons that are not yet known. The vehicles involved in the accident were extensively damaged. Tow trucks had to remove the vehicles from the scene.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other local responders were called to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims, who have not yet been identified, were injured in the crash. They were hospitalized with unknown injuries.
Due to the severity of the crash, the right lane of traffic was blocked for a period of time.
