Douglasville, GA – Rollover Accident at GA-5 & Downs Rd Leads to Injuries
Douglasville, GA (July 20, 2021) – At 6:42 p.m. on the evening of Tuesday, July 20, a rollover accident with injuries occurred in Douglasville.
According to Douglas County officials, the accident happened at the intersection of GA-5 and Downs Road. Two vehicles were traveling in the area when they collided with one another forcefully, causing one of the vehicles to roll over. The vehicles involved in the crash were badly damaged as a result.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were called to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims were taken to local hospitals with injuries. Their conditions and identities are not yet known.
The roadway was blocked at the intersection for some time as police worked to clear the scene.
No further details have been released but the investigation continues.
