Douglasville, GA (May 18, 2021) – At 3:52 p.m. on Monday, May 17, a serious car crash occurred on a roadway in Douglasville.

According to the Paulding Sheriff’s Office, the accident happened on Winn Road in the area of the South Paulding High School. Two or more vehicles were traveling in the area when they collided due to reasons that are not yet known, which led to extensive damages.

Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were dispatched to the scene to help those with injuries. One or more victims were taken to local hospitals for treatment of their injuries.

The roadway was blocked in the area for approximately 30-60 minutes until police cleared the scene.

The investigation into the circumstances of the collision continues.
