Douglasville, GA – Car Crash at Veterans Memorial Hwy & Ann Dr Intersection
Douglasville, GA (August 16, 2021) – At 7:41 a.m. on the morning of Monday, August 16, a car crash with injuries occurred at an intersection in Douglasville.
According to police, the accident happened at the intersection of Veterans Memorial Highway and Ann Drive. Two or more vehicles were traveling in the area when they entered the intersection at the same time, colliding with one another. The vehicles involved in the crash were extensively damaged due to the crash.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were dispatched to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims were taken to local hospitals for treatment of their injuries. Their conditions are not yet known.
Numerous lanes of traffic were blocked in the area for some time, which led to delays until police cleared the scene.
