Doraville, GA – Rollover Accident in SB Lanes of Buford Hwy
Doraville, GA (October 20, 2021) – At 8:34 a.m. on the morning of Wednesday, October 20, a rollover accident occurred on a major roadway in Doraville.
According to Atlanta Police, the accident happened in the southbound lanes of the Buford Highway around the area of I-285. Several vehicles were traveling on the highway when they collided due to unknown reasons, causing one of the vehicles to immediately overturn. The vehicles involved in the accident were extensively damaged as a result.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were called to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims were injured as a result of the accident. The injured parties were hospitalized, though their conditions are not known.
The roadway was blocked in the area for an extended period of time. Police urged those in the area to find alternate routes until the scene was cleared.
