Doraville, GA – Car Accident on I-285 Near Peachtree Industrial Blvd
Doraville, GA (August 5, 2021) – At 7:51 a.m. on the morning of Thursday, August 5, a car accident with injuries occurred in Doraville.
According to police, the accident happened in the westbound lanes of I-285 around the area of Peachtree Industrial Boulevard. Multiple vehicles were traveling in the area when they collided due to reasons that are not entirely known. The vehicles involved in the accident were badly damaged as a result.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other local responders were immediately dispatched to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims were taken to local hospitals for treatment of their injuries.
The roadway was blocked in multiple lanes for an extended period of time. Police quickly worked to clear the scene.
