Dillard, GA – Two Injured in Serious Rollover Accident on GA-246
Dillard, GA (June 18, 2022) – On Friday afternoon, June 17, two people were injured in a serious rollover accident that took place in Dillard.
According to Rabun County officials, the accident happened around 4:55 p.m. on GA-246. Police confirmed that 56-year-old Domingo Roman was traveling west in an orange Ford LNT80 when he suddenly left the road due to reasons that are not yet known. His vehicle went down an embankment and immediately overturned near Ridge Road.
Paramedics, fire crews, and several other responders were called to the scene to help those in need. Roman was rushed to Northeast Georgia Medical Center with serious injuries. His passenger, identified as 25-year-old Justin Adams, also sustained injuries but is expected to be okay.
The roadway was blocked in the area for an extended period of time. Police confirmed that the driver will receive charges for their role in the accident.
No further details have been released. Police continue their investigation into the accident at this time.
