Decatur, GA – Two Injured in Truck Rollover Accident on I-20
Decatur, GA (June 16, 2021) – On Tuesday, June 15, a serious truck rollover accident occurred on a highway in Decatur.
According to Georgia State Patrol officials, the accident happened in the eastbound lanes of I-20 around the area of Candler Road (exit 65). A tractor-trailer overturned in the area due to reasons that are not yet known.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were immediately dispatched to the scene. Two people, who have not yet been identified, were taken to the hospitals for treatment of their injuries. Their conditions are not yet known.
Due to the severity of the crash, the roadway was blocked for an extended period of time as police cleared the scene.
No further details have been released but the investigation remains ongoing.
