East Cobb, GA - Man Killed, One Injured in Motorcycle Accident at Roswell & Providence Rds

Decatur, GA (June 1, 2021) – At 8:21 a.m. on the morning of Wednesday, June 2, a serious motorcycle accident occurred in Decatur.

According to Atlanta Police, the accident happened on Memorial Drive around the area of Conway and Columbia. A motorcycle was traveling in the area when it collided with one or more passenger vehicles due to reasons that are not yet known. The motorcycle was badly damaged due to the accident.

Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were dispatched to the scene to help those in need. The motorcyclist, who has not yet been identified, was taken to the hospital for treatment of their injuries.

Memorial Drive was completely shut down in that area for a period of time as police cleared the scene.

No further details have been released but the investigation remains ongoing.
