Decatur, GA – Rollover Accident on I-20 Near Flat Shoals Rd
Decatur, GA (May 15, 2021) – At 2:33 p.m. on the afternoon of Saturday, May 15, a rollover accident occurred on a highway in Decatur.
According to authorities, the accident happened in the eastbound lanes of I-20 around the area of Flat Shoals Road. Multiple vehicles were traveling in the area when they collided due to reasons that are not yet known, which caused one of the vehicles to roll over.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were present at the scene to help those in need. One or more victims were taken to the hospital for treatment of their injuries.
The roadway was blocked in the right lane of traffic for some time.
No further details have been released but the investigation remains ongoing.
