Decatur, GA – Multi-Vehicle Collision on The Perimeter Near Memorial Dr
Decatur, GA (April 9, 2021) – At 9:55 a.m. on the morning of Friday, April 9, a multi-vehicle collision with injuries occurred on a highway in Decatur.
According to the DeKalb County Police Department, the accident happened in the northbound lanes of The Perimeter around the area of Memorial Drive. Two or more vehicles collided in the area, which led to extensive damages.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other local responders were dispatched to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims were hospitalized as a result of their injuries.
The roadway was blocked in several lanes until police cleared the scene.
The investigation into the circumstances of the accident continues.
