Decatur, GA – Injuries Reported in Fiery Crash on Oakvale Rd
Decatur, GA (April 30, 2021) – On Thursday night, April 29, a serious and fiery crash took place on a roadway in Decatur.
According to the DeKalb County Police Department, the accident happened on Oakvale Road when two vehicles collided with one another. One of the vehicles caught on fire. The involved vehicles were extensively damaged as a result of the crash.
Paramedics and fire crews were immediately dispatched to the scene. One adult and two children were inside one of the vehicles, while an adult was driving the second vehicle. The parties were all listed in critical condition and hospitalized.
The roadway was blocked in the area for some time as police cleared the scene.
No further details have been released but the investigation continues.
