Decatur, GA – Car Crash with Injuries at Wesley Chapel Rd & Snapfinger Rd
Decatur, GA (October 28, 2022) – A car accident with injuries occurred at an intersection in Decatur on the morning of Thursday, October 27.
According to Decatur Police, the accident happened around 6:50 a.m. at the intersection of Wesley Chapel Road and Snapfinger Road. Police confirmed that two or more vehicles were traveling in the area when they entered the intersection at the same time, causing them to collide with one another. The involved vehicles were badly damaged as a result of the accident.
Paramedics, fire crews, and several other local responders were called to the scene to help those in need. It is believed that one or more parties sustained injuries as a result of the accident. The injured parties were taken to local hospitals for treatment, though their exact conditions are not yet known.
Due to the severity of the accident, several lanes of traffic were blocked for some time. This led to delays until the scene was fully cleared.
