Decatur, GA – Car Crash on The Perimeter Near Glenwood Rd
Decatur, GA (July 15, 2021) – At 2:53 p.m. on the afternoon of Thursday, July 15, a car crash with injuries occurred in Decatur.
According to DeKalb County officials, the accident happened in the southbound lanes of The Perimeter around the area of exit 44, Glenwood Road. Several vehicles were traveling in the area when they collided due to reasons that are not yet known. This led to extensive damages to the involved vehicles.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were called to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims, who have not yet been identified, were taken to local hospitals for treatment of their injuries. Their conditions are not known at this time.
Only one lane of traffic was open following the crash as police worked to clear the scene.
No further details have been released but the investigation continues.
