Decatur, GA – Car Crash at Wesley Chapel Rd & Snapfinger Rd
Decatur, GA (July 2, 2021) – At 6:07 a.m. on the morning of Friday, July 2, a car crash with injuries occurred at an intersection in Decatur.
According to DeKalb County officials, the accident happened at the intersection of Wesley Chapel Road and Snapfinger Road. Two or more vehicles were traveling in the area when they entered the intersection at the same time. The vehicles involved in the crash were extensively damaged as a result.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were immediately dispatched to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims, who have not yet been identified, were taken to local hospitals for treatment of their injuries.
Multiple lanes of traffic were blocked in the area for a period of time, which led to delays in the area.
The investigation into the circumstances of the accident continues.
