Decatur, GA – Car Accident with Injuries on Scott Blvd Near Clairemont Ave
Decatur, GA (April 2, 2021) – At 5 p.m. on Friday evening, April 2, a car accident with injuries occurred on a roadway in Decatur.
According to the DeKalb County Police Department, the accident happened on Scott Boulevard around the area of Clairemont Avenue. Two or more vehicles collided in the area due to reasons that are not fully known. This led to extensive damages to the involved vehicles.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were present at the scene. One or more victims were hospitalized with various injuries.
Police urged those in the area to use North Decatur Road as an alternate route.
No further details have been released but the investigation remains ongoing.
