Decatur, GA – Car Accident on The Perimeter Past Memorial Dr
Decatur, GA (May 10, 2021) – Around 3:54 a.m. on the morning of Monday, May 10, a car accident occurred on a highway in Decatur.
According to the DeKalb County Police Department, the accident happened in the northbound lanes of The Perimeter around the area of Memorial Drive. Several vehicles were traveling in the area when they collided due to reasons that are not yet known. This led to extensive damages to the involved vehicles.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were dispatched to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims were taken to local hospitals for treatment of their injuries, though their conditions are not yet known.
The roadway was blocked in the area for an extended period of time as police cleared the scene.
