Decatur, GA – Car Accident in NB Lanes of I-285 Near Glenwood Rd
Decatur, GA (April 14, 2021) – At 8:33 a.m. on the morning of Wednesday, April 14, a serious car accident with injuries occurred on a highway in Decatur.
According to Atlanta Police, the accident happened in the northbound lanes of I-285 around the area of Glenwood Road. Two or more vehicles collided in the area due to reasons that are not yet known, which led to extensive damages.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were present at the scene. One or more victims were taken to the hospital for treatment of their injuries, though their conditions are not yet known.
The left lane of traffic was the only lane open for traffic to pass for some time.
Police continue their investigation into the circumstances of the accident at this time.
