Decatur, GA – Car Accident at Snapfinger Rd & Thompson Mill Rd
Decatur, GA (May 18, 2021) – At 5:50 a.m. on Tuesday morning, May 18, a serious car accident with injuries occurred at a Decatur intersection.
According to the DeKalb County Police Department, the accident happened at the intersection of Snapfinger Road and Thompson Mill Road. Two or more vehicles collided after entering the intersection at the same time.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other local responders were immediately dispatched to the scene. One or more victims were taken to local hospitals for treatment of their injuries.
Several lanes of traffic were blocked for a period of time until police cleared the scene.
The investigation into the circumstances of the collision continues.
