Dawsonville, GA – Car Crash with Injuries at Hwy 53 & Anderson Lake Rd
Dawsonville, GA (October 22, 2021) – At 3:43 p.m. on the afternoon of Friday, October 22, a car crash with injuries occurred at an intersection in Dawsonville.
According to Forsyth County officials, the accident happened at the intersection of Highway 53 and Anderson Lake Road. Two or more vehicles were traveling in the area when they entered the intersection at the same time, forcefully colliding. The vehicles involved in the accident were badly damaged as a result.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were immediately dispatched to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims, who have not yet been identified, were injured in the accident. They were taken to local hospitals for treatment.
Due to the severity of the crash, a portion of the roadway was blocked at the intersection for some time. Police urged those in the area to use Highway 369 and Jot Em Down Road as alternate routes.
