Dalton, GA (May 14, 2021) – At 4:30 p.m. on Friday afternoon, May 14, a two-vehicle crash with injuries occurred at an intersection in Dalton.

According to police, the accident happened at the intersection of South Bypass and IVC Drive. Two vehicles entered the intersection at the same time, causing one to strike the side of the other vehicle. This led to severe damages to both vehicles.

Paramedics and numerous other local responders were immediately dispatched to the scene One or more victims were taken to the hospital for treatment of serious injuries.

The roadway was blocked in the area for an extended period of time.
