Dalton, GA – Two-Vehicle Crash with Injuries at GA-286 & Mitchell Bridge Rd
Dalton, GA (July 19, 2021) – At 6:38 p.m. on the evening of Saturday, July 17, a two-vehicle crash with injuries occurred in Dalton.
According to Whitfield County officials, the accident happened at the intersection of Mitchell Bridge Road and GA-286. Two vehicles were traveling in the area when they entered the intersection at the same time, causing the vehicles to forcefully collide. The vehicles involved in the crash were badly damaged as a result.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were called to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims were injured in the accident and were taken to local hospitals for treatment of their injuries.
The roadway was blocked at the intersection for some time as police cleared the scene.
No further details have been released but the investigation remains ongoing at this time.
