Dalton, GA – Two-Vehicle Crash with Injuries at Chatsworth Hwy & Dalton Bypass
Dalton, GA (November 9, 2022) – Injuries stemmed from a two-vehicle collision that took place at an intersection in Dalton on the evening of Wednesday, November 9.
According to Whitfield County officials, the accident happened around 7 p.m. at the intersection of Chatsworth Highway and Dalton Bypass. Police confirmed that a vehicle went through the red light at the intersection and slammed into a second vehicle, which caused the two to sustain severe damages.
Dalton responders, including paramedics and fire crews, were called to the scene to help those in need. One or more parties were hurt as a result of the accident. The injured parties were taken to local hospitals for treatment, though their conditions are not yet known.
The roadway was blocked at the intersection for a period of time following the accident. Police quickly worked to clear the scene so traffic could return to normal.
