Dalton, GA – Two-Vehicle Crash at Walnut Ave & Airport Rd
Dalton, GA (October 26, 2021) – On Tuesday, October 26, a two-vehicle crash with injuries occurred at an intersection in Dalton.
According to police, the accident happened at the intersection of Walnut Avenue and Airport Road. Two vehicles were traveling in the area when they entered the intersection at the same time, forcefully colliding with one another. The vehicles involved in the accident were extensively damaged as a result.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were called to the scene to help those in need. Two people, identified as a woman and a man, were injured in the collision. They were hospitalized, though their conditions are not yet known.
Due to the severity of the collision, the roadway was blocked at the intersection for some time. Police quickly worked to clear the scene.
