Dalton, GA – Two-Vehicle Crash at S Bypass & Airport Rd Leads to Injuries
Dalton, GA (October 5, 2021) – On Tuesday, October 5, a two-vehicle crash with injuries occurred at an intersection in Dalton.
According to Whitfield County officials, the accident happened at the intersection of South Bypass and Airport Road. Two vehicles were traveling in the area when they entered the intersection at the same time, colliding with each other. The vehicles involved in the accident were badly damaged as a result.
Paramedics and numerous other responders were immediately dispatched to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims were seriously injured in the crash. The injured victims were taken to local hospitals for treatment of their injuries.
The roadway was blocked in the area of the intersection for some time. Police worked to clear the scene.
The investigation into the circumstances of the accident continues.
