Dalton, GA – Tractor-Trailer Collision Leads to Injuries on I-75
Dalton, GA (September 20, 2021) – At 4 p.m. on the afternoon of Monday, September 20, a tractor-trailer collision with injuries occurred on a highway in Dalton.
According to Whitfield County officials, the accident happened on I-75 around the area of exit 328. Several vehicles collided with each other in the area, one of which was identified as a tractor-trailer. The vehicles involved in the accident were extensively damaged and had to be removed from the scene.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were immediately dispatched to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims, who have not yet been identified, were taken to local hospitals for treatment of their injuries.
The roadway was blocked in the area for an extended period of time as police cleared the scene.
The investigation into the circumstances of the accident continues at this time.
