Dalton, GA – Serious Injuries in Car Accident on Chatsworth Hwy
Dalton, GA (December 27, 2021) – At 5:30 p.m. on the evening of Monday, December 27, a car accident with injuries occurred on a roadway in Dalton.
According to Murray County officials, the accident happened on Chatsworth Highway in the area of Tractor Supply. Several vehicles were traveling in the area when one lost control, causing a collision between all of the vehicles. The vehicles involved in the accident were badly damaged and had to be towed from the scene.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were immediately dispatched to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims sustained severe injuries in the accident. A medical helicopter was called to the scene to take injured parties to the hospital.
The roadway was blocked in the area of the accident for an extended period of time. Police quickly worked to clear the scene.
