Dalton, GA – Rollover Crash with Injuries at N Dalton Bypass & Chatsworth Hwy
Dalton, GA (April 18, 2022) – Injuries were reported in a serious rollover crash that took place at an intersection in Dalton on Monday night, April 18.
According to Whitfield County officials, the accident happened around 10:30 p.m. at the intersection of North Dalton Bypass and Chatsworth Highway. Multiple vehicles were traveling in the area when they entered the intersection at the same time, forcefully colliding with each other. One of the vehicles overturned as a result of the collision.
Several local responders, including paramedics and fire crews, were immediately dispatched to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims sustained serious injuries as a result of the accident. The injured parties were taken to local hospitals for treatment of their injuries, though their conditions are not known at this time.
The roadway was blocked at the intersection for a period of time. Police worked to clear the scene so traffic could resume as normal.
The investigation into the accident remains ongoing. Police will update with more information as it is available.
