Dalton, GA – Rollover Crash at Walnut Ave & Airport Rd Intersection
Dalton, GA (July 31, 2021) – Around 4 p.m. on Saturday afternoon, July 31, a rollover crash with injuries took place at a Dalton intersection.
According to Whitfield County officials, the accident happened at the intersection of Walnut Avenue and Airport Road. Two or more vehicles collided with one another, causing a black sedan to roll over in the center of the intersection. The vehicles involved in the crash were extensively damaged as a result.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were called to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims were injured in the accident and taken to local hospitals for treatment of their injuries. Their conditions are not yet known.
The intersection was blocked in the area for an extended period of time.
The investigation into the circumstances of the collision continues.
