Dalton, GA – One Killed in Fatal Collision on Dug Gap Rd
Dalton, GA (April 14, 2021) – On Wednesday, April 14, a fatal collision occurred on a roadway in Dalton involving several vehicles.
Georgia State Patrol officials confirmed that the crash happened at 2032 Dug Gap Road around the area of the Dug Gap Elementary School. Three vehicles collided in the area due to reasons that are not yet known, which led to extensive damages.
Paramedics and numerous other local responders were called to the scene. One person, who has not yet been identified, was pronounced dead at the scene.
The roadway was blocked in the area of the accident for an extended period of time.
No further details have been released but the investigation continues.
