Fires and Explosions in Georgia
More fires break out in Georgia than in many other states in the U.S. Though many of these fires are quickly brought under control by fire crews, others blaze out of control and burn structures to the ground. Fires and explosions happen in both residential and commercial areas, sometimes causing severe damage and harm to occupants. In one recent year, it was determined that there were 6 fatalities and 21 injuries reported out of every 1,000 fires. If you have sustained injuries in a fire-related incident, you know how difficult the recovery can be. Speaking with a skilled attorney is in your best interests at this time.
Fires are very concerning events that can typically be prevented in homes and businesses. However, sometimes fires break out within seconds and quickly engulf entire structures. The injuries that stem from fires can be severe, which include some of the following:
- Smoke inhalation injuries
- Burn injuries
- Death, in some of the worst cases
