Dalton, GA – Multi-Vehicle Crash with Injuries on W Walnut Ave
Dalton, GA (May 20, 2021) – On Thursday evening, May 10, a multi-vehicle crash with injuries occurred on a roadway in Dalton.
According to Whitfield County officials, the accident happened on West Walnut Avenue in front of the local Kroger. Two or more vehicles were traveling in the area when they collided forcefully with one another. One of the vehicles involved had severe front-end damages.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were dispatched to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims were hospitalized as a result of their injuries, though their conditions are not yet known.
The roadway was blocked in several lanes until police cleared the scene.
The investigation into the circumstances of the collision continues.
