Dalton, GA – Multi-Vehicle Crash with Injuries at S Bypass & GA-52
Dalton, GA (December 18, 2021) – On Saturday night, December 18, a multi-vehicle crash with injuries occurred at an intersection in Dalton.
According to Whitfield County officials, the accident happened at the intersection of the South Bypass and GA-52. Several vehicles were traveling in the area when they entered the intersection at the same time, forcefully colliding with each other. The vehicles involved in the accident were extensively damaged as a result.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were called to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims sustained injuries as a result of the collision. The injured parties were hospitalized, though their conditions are not yet known.
Due to the severity of the accident, the roadway was blocked in the area of the intersection for an extended period of time.
