Dalton, GA – Car Crash with Injuries at Dawnville Rd & Rufus Dr
Dalton, GA (November 26, 2021) – Around 3 p.m. on Friday afternoon, November 26, a car crash with injuries occurred at an intersection in Dalton.
According to Whitfield County officials, the accident happened at the intersection of Dawnville Road and Rufus Drive. Two or more vehicles were traveling in the area when they entered the intersection at the same time, forcefully colliding with each other. The vehicles involved in the accident were extensively damaged and had to be towed from the scene.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were called to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims were injured as a result of the accident. The injured victims were hospitalized, though their conditions are not yet known.
The roadway was blocked in the area of the intersection for a period of time. Police quickly worked to clear the scene.
No further details have been released but the investigation continues at this time.
