Dalton, GA – Car Crash with Injuries at Cleveland Hwy & Dawnville Rd
Dalton, GA (July 27, 2022) – Police responded to the scene of a car accident that happened at an intersection in Dalton on Wednesday morning, July 27.
According to Whitfield County officials, the accident happened around 11:48 a.m. at the intersection of Cleveland Highway and Dawnville Road. Several vehicles were traveling in the area when they entered the intersection at the same time, which caused them to collide with each other. The vehicles involved in the accident were extensively damaged as a result of the crash.
Several responders, including paramedics and fire crews, were called to the scene to help those in need. One or more parties sustained injuries as a result of the accident. The injured parties were taken to local hospitals for treatment, though their conditions are not yet known.
The roadway was blocked in the area of the intersection for an extended period of time. Police worked to clear the scene as quickly as possible.
