Dalton, GA – Car Crash at School on Cleveland Hwy Leads to Injuries
Dalton, GA (September 15, 2021) – On Wednesday morning, September 15, a car crash with injuries occurred in Dalton in front of a school.
According to Whitfield County officials, the accident happened at 3264 Cleveland Highway around the area of the North Whitfield Middle School. Several vehicles were traveling in the area when they collided with one another. The vehicles involved in the accident were badly damaged and had to be towed from the scene.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were called to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims were seriously injured in the accident. The injured victims were taken to local hospitals by medical helicopter. Their conditions are not known at this time.
Due to the severity of the accident, the roadway was blocked for a period of time. Police quickly worked to clear the scene.
