Dalton, GA – Car Crash at Rosedale Dr & E Walnut Ave Intersection
Dalton, GA (September 1, 2021) – At 3:32 p.m. on the afternoon of Tuesday, August 31, a car crash with injuries occurred at an intersection in Dalton.
According to Whitfield County officials, the accident happened at the intersection of Rosedale Drive and East Walnut Avenue. Two vehicles were traveling in the area when they entered the intersection at the same time, causing them to forcefully collide. The vehicles involved in the accident were badly damaged as a result of the crash.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were called to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims, who have not yet been identified, were taken to local hospitals for treatment. Their conditions are not known at this time.
The roadway was blocked in the area of the intersection for a period of time as police worked to clear the scene.
No further details have been released. The investigation into the accident continues.
