Dalton, GA – Car Accident at Underwood St & Rushmore Dr Intersection
Dalton, GA (May 20, 2021) – On Thursday evening, May 20, a car accident took place at an intersection in Dalton.
According to Whitfield County officials, the accident occurred at the intersection of Underwood Street and Rushmore Drive. Two or more vehicles were traveling in the area when they collided with each other. This led to extensive damages to the involved vehicles.
Paramedics and other local responders were immediately dispatched to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims were taken to local hospitals for treatment of a variety of injuries. Their conditions are not yet known.
The roadway was blocked in the area for an extended period of time.
No further details have been released but the investigation continues.
