Dalton, GA – Car Accident at Dawnville Rd & Cleveland Hwy Intersection
Dalton, GA (April 20, 2021) – At 7 p.m. on Monday evening, April 19, a car accident occurred at an intersection in Dalton that led to injuries.
According to Whitfield County officials, the accident happened at the intersection of Dawnville Road and Cleveland Highway. Two vehicles collided with one another in the area, which led to extensive damages. A red SUV was seen with front-end damage.
Paramedics and numerous other responders were present at the scene of the crash. One or more victims were hospitalized with serious injuries. Their conditions are not yet known.
The roadway was blocked in the area of the intersection for a period of time.
The investigation into the circumstances of the accident continues.
