Dalton, GA (July 26, 2021) – On Monday afternoon, July 26, a car accident with injuries occurred at an intersection in Dalton.
According to authorities, the accident happened at the intersection of Chattanooga Road and Shugart Road. Multiple vehicles were traveling in the area when they suddenly collided due to reasons that are not yet known. The vehicles involved in the accident were extensively damaged due to the accident.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were called to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims were taken to local hospitals for treatment of their injuries. Their conditions are not yet known.
The southbound lanes of traffic were completely closed in the area for a period of time.
