Dallas, GA – Car Crash with Injuries at Macland & Old Mill Rds
Dallas, GA (March 9, 2022) – Injuries were reported in a car crash that took place at an intersection in Dallas on Tuesday night, March 8.
According to Paulding County officials, the accident happened at 8:16 p.m. at the intersection of Macland Road and Old Mill Road. Two vehicles were traveling in the area when they entered the intersection at the same time, forcefully colliding with each other. The vehicles involved in the accident were badly damaged and had to be towed from the scene.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other local responders were called to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims sustained injuries as a result of the accident. The injured parties were taken to local hospitals for treatment of unknown injuries. Their identities and conditions are not yet known.
Due to the severity of the accident, the roadway was blocked in all lanes of traffic at the intersection. Police quickly worked to clear the scene.
The investigation into the circumstances of the collision continues.
