Dallas, GA – Car Crash at Memorial Dr & Merchants Dr Intersection
Dallas, GA (October 9, 2021) – At 9:25 a.m. on the morning of Friday, October 8, a car crash with injuries occurred at an intersection in Dallas.
According to Atlanta Police, the accident happened at the intersection of Memorial Drive and Merchants Drive. Several vehicles were traveling in the area when they entered the intersection at the same time, colliding with each other. The vehicles involved in the accident were badly damaged as a result.
Paramedics and numerous other responders were called to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims were injured as a result of the accident. The injured parties, who have not yet been identified, were taken to local hospitals for treatment.
Several lanes of traffic were blocked in the area for a period of time as police cleared the scene. This led to delays for a period of time.
The investigation into the circumstances of the accident continues.
