Dallas, GA – Car Accident at Polk Ave & N Johnston St Intersection
Dallas, GA (August 10, 2021) – At 11:21 a.m. on Tuesday morning, August 10, a car accident occurred at an intersection in Dallas.
According to local officials, the accident happened at the intersection of Polk Avenue and North Johnston Street. Two or more vehicles were traveling in the area when they entered the intersection at the same time. The vehicles involved in the accident were extensively damaged as a result.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were called to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims, who have not yet been identified, were taken to local hospitals for treatment of their injuries.
The roadway was blocked in multiple lanes in the area until police cleared the scene. Police urged those in the area to avoid the intersection.
The investigation into the circumstances of the collision continues.
