Dallas, GA – Car Accident at GA-61 & Hay Renfroe Dr Intersection
Dallas, GA (August 17, 2021) – At 1:58 p.m. on the afternoon of Tuesday, August 17, a car accident with injuries occurred at an intersection in Dallas.
According to Paulding Sheriff’s Office deputies, the accident happened at the intersection of GA-61 and Hay Renfroe Drive. Two or more vehicles were traveling in the area when they entered the intersection at the same time. The vehicles involved in the accident forcefully collided with one another. Tow trucks had to remove the damaged vehicles from the scene.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were dispatched to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims, who have not yet been identified, were taken to local hospitals for treatment of their injuries. Their conditions are not yet known.
Due to the severity of the crash, the intersection was completely blocked for about an hour.
No further details have been released. The investigation into the circumstances of the collision continues at this time.
