Dacula, GA – Three-Vehicle Crash at Hwy 81 & Jack Pittman Rd Intersection
Dacula, GA (January 10, 2022) – On Saturday evening, January 8, a three-vehicle crash with injuries occurred at an intersection in Dacula.
According to Walton County officials, the accident happened at 6:58 p.m. in the evening at the intersection of Highway 81 and Jack Pittman Road. Three vehicles were traveling in the area when they entered the intersection at the same time, causing the vehicles to forcefully collide with one another. The involved vehicles were badly damaged as a result of the accident.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were immediately dispatched to the scene to help those with injuries. One person was trapped in their vehicle and had to be extricated by fire crews. Two people were rushed to the hospital for treatment of their injuries but they are expected to recover.
The roadway was blocked at Highway 81 in the area for an extended period of time as police worked to clear the scene.
