Dacula, GA – Car Crash at Intersection of GA-316 & Drowning Creek Rd
Dacula, GA (June 1, 2021) – At 1:26 a.m. on Tuesday morning, June 1, a car crash with injuries occurred at an intersection in Dacula.
According to Gwinnett County officials, the accident happened at the intersection of GA-316 and Drowning Creek Road. Two or more vehicles collided after entering the intersection at the same time. The vehicles involved were left with extensive damages.
Paramedics and numerous other responders were immediately dispatched to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims were taken to local hospitals for treatment of unknown injuries.
All westbound lanes of traffic were blocked for a period of time. Police quickly worked to clear the scene.
The investigation into the circumstances of the accident continues at this time.
